About the Angel Venture Fair

The Angel Venture Fair was first established in the mid 1990's by the Philadelphia Private Investors Group otherwise known as PPIG. The goal of the fair is to unite growth companies with angel investors spanning the northeast. Since the AVF's first year the number of applicants and angel investors wishing to attend this exclusive event has grown exponentially.

Currently over 125 entrepreneurs apply on this website to become a presenter at the Angel Venture Fair. Only 30 of those who will apply are selected to present to a group of judges on Selection Day. Out of those 30 companies who present only 20 are asked to present at the Angel Venture Fair. Of the remaining 10 companies 5 will be given the opportunity to be exhibitors at AVF.
