In Celebration of Earth Day and National Wildlife Week, during the luncheon, AVF will raffle off a gift certificate for $2,000 toward a National Wildlife Federation Wildlife-Viewing Expedition.

Each year the National Wildlife Federation selects the top 30-35 wildlife-viewing trips each year. This extraordinary assortment of tours, to all parts of the world, are outstanding opportunities to see wildlife and learn about the natural world while traveling responsibly and sensitively, with economic benefits to local communities. We will be raffling a $2,000 gift certificate good towards
the booking of any NWF Expedition in 2008 or 2009. Many Expeditions can be booked entirely with this certificate, or it can be used to reduce the price of a "dream vacation" to more exotic locales. A few programs remain for 2008, and the new slate of 2009 tours will be finalized in early June.
The Angel Venture Fair, one of the few events organized by and exclusively for private investors, is brought to you by the Private Investors Forum (PIF), a non-profit organization of accredited private investors dedicated to providing education and stimulating investment in the Greater Philadelphia Region, including New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
AVF is held at the Union League in Philadelphia and unites growth companies - HIGH-TECH, LOW-TECH, NO-TECH - from across the Northeast with private accredited investors from New England to Virginia. Attendance at AVF is open to accredited investors who are directly involved in early stage investments. Non-investor participation will be very limited. The event is mainly for Angel Investors, but participants may include other accredited investors, entrepreneurs, investment bankers, affiliated attorneys and accountants (sponsors) who are directly involved in early stage investment activities.
